Administrator/Secretary (9 months maternity cover)
Our client has an opening for an enthusiastic, well motivated individual to join our busy team on a 9 month maternity cover contract commencing Monday 21st July 2008 (latest). The role is offered on a fixed term (35 hours a week) basis but could be offered on a temp basis in exceptional circumstances. A starting salary of up to £20,000 is anticipated. The offices are NOT accessible by public transport so a car/motorbike is essential, Thame is 15 minutes away. Our client has an opening for an enthusiastic, well motivated individual to join our busy team on a permanent, full-time basis. They are a small dynamic and successful technology services company with an international client base. We work with governments and telecom test laboratories in over 100 countries worldwide. The job is busy, varied and rewarding.
Main responsibilities: Candidate will be responsible for providing excellent administrative support to the Project Management Team. This will include: General office duties (answering telephone, preparing letters, sending faxes, filing etc). Preparing application files for submission to government authorities. Handling daily Fedex shipping for the company and tracking progress with shipments. Logging and tracking of customer samples. Ordering and managing stationery and office supplies. Receptionist dealing with deliveries. Any other tasks as required by the team.
Salary £11,000 - £14,000. Hours: 08.00 - 16.30 (Mon - Thurs) and 08.00 - 14.00 (Friday)

Currently looking to recruit immediately on a temp perm arrangement this role involves highly confidential work for both Joint Managing Directors, the Human Resource Manager and other members of the Senior Management Team inlcuding all areas of support required by the Joint Managing Director, dealing with potential and existing Principals.
Suitable candidates will need to educated to at least GCSE O Level equivalent with sound MS products (particularly Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint), be comfortable working to tight deadlines, committed and thorough, able to positively influence and interact and be solidly numerate and literate.

Secretary / Administrator
Working for a Thame based company of Loss Adjusters who work on behalf of major insurance companies, investigating insurance claims. Business is conducted on a national basis and works from two offices on the outskirts of Thame. A small company with 3 Loss Adjusters and support staff.
Ideal candidate will be able to display several years of office experience, be well organised, be able to work unsupervised, be calm under pressure, able to recognise and meet deadlines, have a polite telephone manner and ideally some audio skills would be preferred.

Recruitment Resourcer / Researcher
The primary objective of this role is to assist Recruitment Consultants in the sourcing of candidates for known vacancies. This will involve database searching and a considerable amount of candidate assessment by telephone. Secondary objectives include database updating and writing / sending mail shots.
A period of successful operation as a Resourcer can lead to promotion to a Recruitment Consultant.
Candidates must have strong interpersonal skills and an excellent telephone manner. You will ideally have a strong interest in IT and must be prepared to spend up to 60% of the working day on the telephone. Previous IT experience is not essential as full training will be provided.
My client is paritcularly interested in people who feel they have chosen the wrong career or wish to cross train for a new role. May also be of interest to parents who were originally employed in IT, or in a technical capacity who now wish to return to work.
